At St Cecilia’s Nursery, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework making sure your child has the best start to their education as possible. We aim to provide an experience that will not only be very valuable but full of enjoyment at this very special time in your child’s life.
Our members of staff will be highly skilled Early Years practitioners. We will have one teacher, one Level 3 qualified practitioner and a third practitioner. Our staff team will provide children with first-hand experiences and learning opportunities, both inside and outside, to enable the children to develop as confident learners in a safe and happy environment.
We will play inside and outside nursery everyday so it is important to bring clothes suitable for outdoor play so the children can explore and learn, following their interests whatever the weather!
We will offer the universal 15 hours’ free places as 5 mornings or 5 afternoons per week. In addition, we will offer the additional 15 hours’ local authority funded provision for working parents who meet the Government’s eligibility criteria. The Nursery sessions will be 8:30-11:30 and 12:30-3:30 with the option to buy childcare for the lunch hour between 11:30 and 12:30 for children who are attending for 30 hours.
Our nursery will be designed in a similar way to Alder Grove CofE School. Below is a picture of their fantastic nursery setting.
