Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

At St Cecilia's, our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision offers a nurturing, stimulating, and language-rich environment where every child is valued as an individual. We provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences that promote curiosity, independence and resilience.

Our curriculum, both in Nursery and Reception, is designed to be broad, balanced and ambitious, supporting the prime and specific areas of learning through purposeful play and structured, adult led activities. We place a strong emphasis on the early foundations of reading, writing and maths whilst developing communication and language skills.
