‘Therefore encourage one another, and build each other up.’
(Thessalonians 5:11)

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to St Cecilia’s Church of England Primary School.

We are so proud of the way our school continues to grow, welcoming children from a diverse range of backgrounds. When you enter our school, you can feel the empathy and togetherness of all the adults and children and it is this that makes St Cecilia’s the special and unique place that it is.

Each and every day, we live out our school values (Perseverance, Forgiveness, Kindness, Gratitude, Truthfulness and Wisdom) and from this, meaningful and trusting relationships are built. When our children leave us in Year 6, they have a strong moral compass and contribute positively to our community.

The staff at St Cecilia’s are all highly dedicated and skilled, providing an environment which stimulates a love of learning, allowing our children to realise their potential. We are ambitious for all our children and they make great progress in their learning, but for us, academic achievement is just the tip of the iceberg. Our school nurtures the talents of each individual and we encourage our children to broaden their horizons and grasp every opportunity, living life to its fullest.

It is a privilege for us at St Cecilia’s to serve the community of Matthew’s Green and Wokingham as a whole. We are one of Wokingham’s newest schools and are blessed with high quality facilities for the whole school community to enjoy.  Please feel free to explore our website, where you will find more information about our incredible school, or alternatively, book a tour by contacting the school office.

I am very much looking forward to meeting you and showing you what our school has to offer.

Mr Richard Thomas
Head of School
